Tom Selleck has lived an extraordinary life, and now he’s sharing it with fans in a whole new way. The 78-year-old Blue Bloods star has been working on a memoir since first announcing the project back in 2019—and after years of anticipation, readers finally have their first look at the book’s cover.
Titled You Never Know, the memoir will be released on May 7, 2024 by HarperCollins.
According to the official synopsis, You Never Know is “an intimate memoir from one of the most beloved actors of our time,” offering a highly personal look at Selleck’s remarkable—and often unexpected—career. The book explores his childhood and university days in California, his rise to fame, and the highs and lows along the way.
The publisher promises that Selleck will address long-standing misconceptions, share never-before-told stories, and open up about defining moments throughout his personal and professional life. Readers will get behind-the-scenes insight into how he helped shape the character of Thomas Magnum, and learn about real-life friendships with Hollywood legends including Frank Sinatra, Carol Burnett, and Sam Elliott.
At 320 pages, the memoir offers a rare, candid look at the man behind the mustache—and gives fans a new way to connect with one of television’s most iconic stars.
