Plot – “Suffer the Children”:
Danny and Lena find themselves pulled into a high-stakes murder investigation that uncovers ties to one of Boston’s most notorious unsolved crimes. At the same time, the Silver family faces rising tension as a complicated shooting case triggers fierce debate over responsibility, consequences, and parenting.
The cast includes Donnie Wahlberg as Danny Reagan, Sonequa Martin-Green as Lena Silver, Marcus Scribner as Jonah Silver, Maggie Lawson as Sarah Silver, and Mika Amonsen as Sean Reagan. Gloria Reuben steps into the role of Mae Silver, with Ernie Hudson portraying Reverend Edwin Peters.
Wahlberg returns as former NYPD detective Danny Reagan in this expansion of the Blue Bloods universe. Now part of the Boston Police Department, Danny is partnered with Detective Lena Silver the eldest member of a respected local law enforcement family. The Silver clan includes district attorney Mae Silver, police superintendent Sarah Silver, rookie officer Jonah Silver, and influential pastor Reverend Edwin Peters.
As Danny adjusts to life in a new city, he’s also striving to rebuild his relationship with his younger son, Sean, who has just begun his own law enforcement career in Boston.
